Millbrook Trail Partnership
The Swanson Inn and the Mad Path Association joined efforts to ensure public access to the Millbrook Trail from VT Rte. 17. On Wednesday, January 26, Rick and Tim finalized a permanent easement to the Millbrook Trail trailhead with the Mad River Path Association, executed by the law offices of Willem Jewett. Ross Saxion, the executive director of the Mad River Path, approached Rick and Tim in 2020 and since that time have worked hard to make this dream a reality. Uninhibited access to the woods, open space, and beauty of the natural world is essential and we are happy to support the work and mission of the Mad Path trail system. Bring your snowshoes in the winter and hiking shoes in the summer and enjoy the beauty of the Mad River Valley.
