As the State of Vermont re-opens for travel, The Swanson re-opened its doors on July 1, 2020. If Covid-related illness or changing travel restrictions impact your ability to visit as planned, we will refund your deposit.
We follow CDC, Vermont Department of Health, and American Hotel and Lodging Association guidelines for disinfecting and cleaning our rooms and linens, and all guests and staff must maintain social distance and wear masks while in indoor common spaces (unless you are eating). Whenever possible, we will put a 24-hour safety cushion around visits, so that rooms will be left vacant between guest stays.

This information changes frequently, and the state’s website is updated regularly. Depending on where you are traveling from, there may be restrictions and/or quarantine requirements. In addition, all out-of-state travelers must sign and complete a Certificate of Compliance and are strongly encouraged to register with Sara Alert upon arrival to Vermont to get two weeks of daily reminders to check for common symptoms of COVID-19.
